Indoor 2024-25 Season

Welcome to Meridian Soccer!

Whether it’s your first season or far from it, we’re happy to have you. 

Meridian Soccer offers programming for ages 2 - 17, skills academy and goalkeeping academy.

Parent & Tot - Kindersoccer 2-3 year
Introduce your little one to the joys of soccer with our Kindersoccer program, designed especially for toddlers ages 2-3. This engaging, parent-and-tot program is the perfect way to bond with your child while helping them develop basic motor skills and a love for the game.

Coaches Needed! We're looking for head coaches for our upcoming season. If you complete all coaching requirements and lead at least 80% of the training sessions, you'll receive a refund of your child's registration fees at the end of the season. Question? Email or call registrar@meridiansoccer.ca 306-830-8030.

Development Program - Under 5 - Under 9
There is no tiering or selection process, but our technical coaches will work to balance the teams evenly. Programming is held twice a week and are led by parent volunteers, with on-field support from Club Head Coaches Zach Wagner and Doyle Church.

Travel Teams - Under 10 - Under 15
Players interested in joining a travel team must attend evaluations and be assessed. Based on their development and experience, they will be placed on either a travel team or in the recreation league. The travel team program has higher costs than the Rec League, and participants are expected to attend two practices per week.

Skills Academy - Under 5 - Under 15
This program is perfect for players of all levels who want to improve their soccer skills in a fun and supportive environment. It includes a variety of drills and activities designed to enhance dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills. Each session is crafted to build confidence, promote teamwork, and ensure that every participant has a great time. The program is led by Doyle Church.

Goalkeeper Skills Academy - Under 9 - Under 15
This program is designed for players ages 9-15, focusing on developing essential goalkeeping skills in a fun and supportive environment. It's ideal for players of all levels looking to improve their game. Our experienced coaches will guide participants through drills and activities aimed at enhancing shot-stopping, diving, positioning, and distribution skills. Each session is crafted to build confidence, promote teamwork, and ensure that every participant enjoys the experience. The program is led by Zach Wagner.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Registration closes on September 13. Evaluations are scheduled for September 15. More details HERE.
• ALL outstanding fees from previous seasons must be paid before participating in the 2024-25 Indoor season. Your RAMP account may be locked if you have outstanding payments. If your RAMP account is locked, please contact treasurer@meridiansoccer.ca to make the appropriate arrangements.
• Registration payments in RAMP are by credit card only. To register with payment by e-transfer, treasurer@meridiansoccer.ca (No password is required, and place your child/children's name in the memo), contact treasurer@meridiansoccer.ca to make arrangements.
• Financial assistance may be available. More information on applying for various programs can be found HERE.
• When you register, you’ll be charged for a base registration fee. If you are travelling to tournaments or would like to be a part of the Academy along with regular programming there is a fee associated with those options.
• Every player will receive a new jersey for the 2024/25 Indoor season. The jersey cost is built into the registration fees, and you can keep it! 

Season Starts: 

• Season starts the week of October 21, 2024 - March 6, 2025 (December break Dec. 9 - Jan. 4)
  • Kindersoccer Sunday and Monday (Servus Sports Centre) start the week of October 21 - December 9, 2024
    
  • Kindersoccer Tuesday (Synergy Vault) starts the week of October 15 - December 3, 2024

Attention Families Applying for Financial Assistance: Please apply for your funding early. 

Please confirm the funding application by forwarding it to treasurer@meridiansoccer.ca with the subject "Funding Application" before registration. If funding does not fully cover the player fees, fees must be paid before player participation.

Refund Policy 

Should things change after you have registered, our refund policy will be in effect as follows:

• During the online registration period (Opening date - September 13): 25% non-refundable administration fee will be withheld.
• After registration closes: No refunds will be issued as funds are then committed to MSA and SSA.

What costs are associated with soccer?

• Registration Fees are set amount of fees assessed to cover the costs of registering teams with Saskatchewan Soccer Association, Meridian technical support, uniform cost and other administrative fees. Administrative fees are assessed at a percentage of the technical support costs to cover equipment, team management system, facilities, and all other costs of running the club.
• Travel Team Fees are based on tournament costs and head coach expenses.
